Walking into Golden Corral felt less like entering a buffet and more like volunteering for a culinary science experiment. The food looked like it had been cooked sometime during the Obama administration and was just hanging on out of pure determination. The mashed potatoes had the consistency of drywall mud, the macaroni squeaked when I chewed it, and the steak fought harder than the cow ever did. Whoever is running that kitchen deserves recognition, because turning perfectly good ingredients into edible disappointment on that scale is a talent. It felt like prison food somehow got promoted to executive dining and then slapped with steakhouse prices. The dessert bar looked like it had survived three birthday parties, two divorces, and a minor flood. I swear one dinner roll looked me dead in the eyes and whispered, "End my suffering." The only thing hotter than the food trays was the regret I felt after paying the bill. For what I spent, I expected dinner. Instead I got a life lesson. On the plus side, my dog sniffed the leftovers, looked at me with disappointment, and walked away. He's usually the kind of guy who'll eat a dryer sheet if you drop one. 10 out of 10 if you're

Me and my buddy decided to hit Golden Corral because we hadn't been there in years. Thought we'd give it another chance. Yeah... probably should've left the memories alone. I don't know what happened in that kitchen, but every piece of food looked like it had already given up before it hit the buffet line. The chicken was drier than a Michigan winter, the steak had the texture of something you'd find in a toolbox, and the pizza looked like it had been waiting for someone to rescue it for about six hours. The rolls were somehow the closest thing to a victory, and that's saying something. The craziest part? The best thing we had all night was the damn Mello Yellow.A fountain drink stole the spotlight from an entire buffet. That's when you know things have gone sideways. For the price, I expected a decent meal. Instead, I paid premium prices for a trip down memory lane to every questionable cafeteria I've ever been in. At least the Mello Yello came through. That little yellow hero carried the whole operation. Time to close this place down and give us back a Ponderosa insteadβ¦

(7:45PM)I come here fairly often. This place is going downhill quick! For the last few months whether or not it's breakfast or dinner there's not a full buffet of food to eat. Tonight I can see the bottom of every tray, 19 trays are completely empty with no food. Rolls are burnt! Carrots look like they've sat out since Tuesday. Cornbread rock hard. Pot Roast is a dry brick! I haven't had a server come to my table the whole entire time being here. On a regular basis cooks can be loud and obnoxious and at sometimes are fighting/arguing loudly. Nobody ever seems to care. When the urinal pads are black and brown, that means nobody's changing them. I go to Golden Corals all over the US. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST! SEND SOMEONE TO PITTSBURGH FOR AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO RUN A BUFFET!

All the food looked like it had been sitting there all day. The hot food was luke warm and the cold desserts were room temperature. My husband found some type of rope in his food. I was highly disappointed. Especially since the prices of dining there have increased. It used to be a decent place to have a good meal with the family and be affordable.

Atmosphere -10 stars. Looked like someone had a bonfire in the back it was so smokey. Rice tasted like it was boiled in chlorine and seasoned with bleach. Steak so burnt it could smelt a stack of iron in minecraft.sausage was horse dih. Smelled like Vassar iykyk. Steak still had a pulse and when I turned my back it started running away. So I had to get on my horse and lasso it to stop it. Got the beef genetically tested and it was goldfish and hamster. Beef was more raw than actual raw beef. Not worth the 1 dollar I spent
